Kirkby in Ashfield Library and Learning Centre is a hub for cultural activities and create knowledge in the heart of the Kirkby shopping district. 

There are regular Rhyme, Rattle and Roll sessions for the little ones on Monday mornings at 10.30am, older children can join the Little Bookworms and Junior Bookworms sessions each month, and the Kirkby Murder Club links up readers of all ages every last Friday of each month.


Visitors to the library can drop-in at any time to complete a jigsaw, while relaxation can be found in the Places of Welcome sessions every Wednesday from 10am.

Kirkby Library and Learning Centre also has six public PCs with free Wi-Fi and Learning Courses. The library also hosts fortnightly a Craft and Chatter Group.
