The route
Take a wander around the magnificent countryside around the Annesley Park estate, which was once the ancestral home of the Chaworth-Musters family. This area inspired two of the county's most famous authors, Romantic poet Lord Byron and novelist DH Lawrence. There are surfaced paths and moderate gradients on this route, making it an ideal one for hiking beginners.
