The Route
The Teversal Station Loop from Skegby cycle trail starts at Mansfield Road, Skegby, and is filled with a number of excellent destinations along the way that are ideal stopping points. Cyclists can enjoy the stunning views at Pleasley Pit Country Park and take in the beautiful Teversal Trail to Silverhill Wood and Brierley Forest Park.


Places to Visit
Head to the summit of Silverhill Wood and admire the area’s famous memorial statue of a Nottinghamshire miner. The bronze sculpture is found at one of the highest points in the county where visitors can view former mining villages, and see Lincoln Cathedral in the distance. Cyclists should also visit Pleasley Pit Country Park and Mining Museum and take a small de-tour off the trail to head to Skegby Hall at the beginning or end of the trail.
