Tibshelf is a Derbyshire village found just across the border from Nottinghamshire close to the villages of Teversal and Huthwaite in Ashfield. There is plenty to visit in this village including Tibshelf Ponds, an ex-colliery site, where visitors can go angling at the two fishing ponds. Tibshelf Park has a playground and open space ideal for a walk or a picnic, and the High Street is a wonderful place to stop off for a coffee while in the area. 


How to get there
By car: Exit at junction 28 on the M1, and take the A38 exit to Mansfield/A615/Matlock. Continue on Alfreton Road/A38, and take the B6406 and B6026 to High Street/B6014 in Tibshelf. 
By train: Alfreton train station (4.7 miles) or Sutton Parkway (5.7 miles).
